Tilskudd til utvikling i kommuner med særlige distriktsutfordringer

Troms fylkeskommune provides 18 million NOK in grants for main projects in district municipalities that have experienced long-term decline in population and employment of particularly significant extent. The grant scheme aims to strengthen the capacity of municipalities to handle situations with long-term population and employment decline through facilitating increased attractiveness for settlement and business. The funding is intended to contribute to long-term positive development in eligible municipalities in Troms county. Main projects can have a duration of up to 5 years, though 3-4 year projects are recommended to ensure progress, continuity and sustainability. The grant can support project management, meeting places for business and voluntary sectors, competence development, procurement of knowledge base, administration and other activities that meet the objectives of the call.
