Berlevåg kommune has decided to continue for 2026 the grant program supporting businesses that hire youth/students for summer jobs. The municipality provides financial support to businesses that employ young people during the summer period. The grant is designed to encourage local employment opportunities for youth with residence in Berlevåg municipality. Businesses can apply for support for multiple individuals, with the requirement that youth are paid according to the main collective agreement and have a registered address in Berlevåg municipality. The employment must span a minimum of 3 weeks in a 100% position. This funding is specifically for summer jobs and not for year-round employment contracts.
