Tilskudd ved produksjonssvikt

The 'Tilskudd ved produksjonssvikt' (Grant for Production Failure) is a subsidy program designed to reduce economic losses that occur due to production failures caused by climatic conditions that cannot be insured against. The grant is available to agricultural enterprises experiencing significant crop losses due to weather events such as drought, excessive heat, or other climate-related factors. To qualify for this subsidy, the harvest in the damage year must be less than 70 percent of the average harvest for the crop group. Farmers must notify the municipality without undue delay that damage has occurred or may occur. This notification is now submitted digitally through Altinn. The notification is not an application itself; the actual application must be submitted after harvest and by October 31st. The program aims to support farmers facing exceptional circumstances beyond their control that significantly impact their production capacity.
