Tilskudd ved svikt i honningproduksjon

This grant program provides financial support to beekeeping operations that experience significant declines in honey production due to climatic conditions. The support is designed to compensate for production losses caused by weather-related factors such as reduced flowering and poor flight weather that cannot be insured against. To qualify, production must fall below 70 percent of the average production per beehive, with applicants bearing a 30 percent deductible of average production. The program aims to support beekeepers who have operated in a professionally sound manner and taken normal preventive measures against losses. Applicants must have strong bee colonies, prevent disease, and maintain appropriate disease/parasite treatment protocols. The grant is administered by the Norwegian Agriculture Agency (Landbruksdirektoratet) with applications processed through local municipalities and decisions made by county governors (Statsforvalteren).
