Tilskuddsordning for studenter

Drammen kommune has established an incentive program to encourage students to register their residence in the municipality. The program was approved by the municipal council in 2023 and offers a one-time residence registration grant of 7,000 Norwegian kroner to eligible students. This initiative aims to motivate students at the University of Southeast Norway, Drammen campus, to officially register their residence in Drammen. The grant is available only for students who moved to Drammen in 2024 or 2025, with no retroactive effect for earlier moves. Students must be enrolled either part-time or full-time at USN Drammen and provide official documentation of their residence registration from the Norwegian Tax Administration.
