Tilskuddsordning til kjøp av el-sykkel

Eigersund kommune, in collaboration with Kolumbus, offered a grant program to support residents in purchasing electric bicycles. The program aimed to encourage more people to choose bicycles over cars for transportation, reduce fossil fuel emissions, and promote physical activity for better public health among residents. Each eligible applicant could receive up to 5,000 Norwegian kroner in support for the purchase of one electric bicycle. The grant could not exceed 30% of the bicycle's purchase price. The program was designed to reduce the number of cars on the roads and facilitate sustainable transportation choices. A total of 600,000 kroner was available from Kolumbus, allowing up to 120 residents to receive financial support. The application deadline was December 6, 2023, and all 120 applicants who applied received support.
