Tilskuddsordning til kommunale sandlekeplasser

This grant program is offered by Eigersund kommune (municipality) in Norway to support neighborhood associations (velforeninger) that have taken responsibility for municipal sand playgrounds through an operating agreement with the municipality. The grant provides financial support for renewal and improvement of playground facilities. Eligible expenses include renewal of worn playground equipment, new playground equipment that falls within the function of sand playgrounds, upgrading playground areas including fences, purchase of permanent green structures (not summer flowers), and replacement or supplementation of fall protection and sandbox sand. The size of the grant is determined by evaluation, the number of applications, and the current budget for this program. To be eligible for the grant, associations must have conducted a main inspection and submitted a self-declaration for the current year. Applications are accepted annually with a deadline of April 15 each year.
