Berlevåg kommune offers a grant program to stimulate settlement in the municipality by providing financial support for improvement or adaptation of existing primary residences. The purpose is to contribute to local settlement, attract new residents, strengthen the labor market, support business development, and upgrade the existing housing stock. Applicants must purchase a home with low standard that requires improvement or adaptation to meet current standards and expectations in the existing housing market. Recipients must reside in the home for at least two years. The grant can cover up to 300,000 NOK per applicant and cannot exceed 50% of documented costs. The program is valid through December 31, 2028.
