The program stimulates voluntary efforts and supports civil society's work for women's liberation and feminist values. Oslo Municipality provides grants to initiatives and campaigns primarily directed at women living in Oslo. Priority is given to initiatives that prevent discrimination, harassment, negative social control, violence against women and other forms of oppression; strengthen women who are subjected to various forms of oppression through knowledge about their rights, self-help measures, networks and safe meeting places; and motivate women to active participation in all societal arenas such as education and the labor market.
