About this opportunity
The Tim Banks Entrepreneurial Spirit Award is established at the University of Prince Edward Island by the staff of APM in honour of their CEO, Tim Banks. This scholarship recognizes a student who has completed Business 371, has an expressed interest in an entrepreneurial career, and who maintained an academic average of 75% or greater in the previous academic year. Preference will be given to a student who has also completed Business 265. Tim Banks is the only individual from Prince Edward Island identified as one of the Top 50 Chief Executive Officers in 2008 by Atlantic Business Magazine and a five-time recipient of this honor. He is well known as an exceptional business leader, a supporter of his community, and a respected CEO. Known as a 'maverick', Tim consistently pushes boundaries and works tirelessly for business success. APM is one of the largest construction and design-build companies in the Atlantic region, with offices across Canada including Charlottetown, Halifax, Toronto and Calgary.
