About this opportunity
This scholarship supports students at North Dakota State University who are majoring in the College of Arts and Sciences and have demonstrated academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA. The scholarship recognizes students who have completed coursework or research in fields related to cultural and ethnic heritage, including Folklore, Cultural Anthropology, Indigenous Tribal Studies, Sociology, Cross-Cultural Communication, and Modern Languages. Recipients must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate aptitude through written research, published works, public presentations, or participation in field schools or student internships. Applicants are required to submit a one-page double-spaced essay explaining why cultural heritage is important to them and why they deserve the scholarship.
