About This Opportunity

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) Open Scholarships Program provides financial assistance to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Historically Black Community Colleges (HBCCs). The program partners with major corporations including Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's, Cargill, CoBank, Coca-Cola Foundation, Enterprise, McDonald's, MolsonCoors, JPMorgan Chase, and Sallie Mae Fund to offer multiple scholarship opportunities. TMCF awarded over $21 million in scholarship funding to 2,718 scholars in the 2024-2025 school year, enabling students to stay in school and complete their education. The scholarships support students across various academic disciplines and career paths, with opportunities for both new applicants and renewal students. Applicants must create a student profile on the TMCF Scholarship Portal, complete the general application, and then apply to matched scholarships via their dashboard. The system automatically reviews applicant information and generates a list of eligible scholarships. Students may be considered for up to two scholarships per academic year.
