About this opportunity
The TDTU Postdoctoral Fellowship is a comprehensive funding program designed to support postdoctoral researchers in joining Ton Duc Thang University in Vietnam. The fellowship is open to candidates holding a doctoral degree who wish to conduct research aligned with the university's training and research priorities. Candidates must be no more than 45 years of age and demonstrate significant publication records in Web of Science or Scopus-indexed journals.
The fellowship consists of two components: a research-based fellowship calculated according to institutional regulations on researcher income, and a living allowance of up to VND 8,000,000 per month for full-time researchers. The amount varies depending on whether TDTU is the sole institutional affiliation or shared with other institutions. Recipients must commit to at least 12 months of full-time work at the university.
Postdocs are required to produce specific research outputs during their tenure, including WoS or Scopus-indexed publications as first or corresponding author. They must also complete at least two additional research activities from an extensive list including teaching, supervising students, serving on research councils, presenting at conferences, and participating in academic program development. All work must be conducted under academic supervision and with adherence to institutional affiliation requirements.
