Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program

The Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program is an entrance award for Canadian students entering university directly from high school. This scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and service to community environmental issues, combined with strong academic achievement. The program awards $5,000 to 20 students annually who show exceptional potential as environmental leaders. Selection is based on community environmental service, academic performance, volunteer and extracurricular activities, leadership capacity, letters of recommendation, and evaluation of the candidate's essay and self-assessment. This scholarship is sponsored by Toyota Canada Inc. and Earth Day Canada to support the next generation of environmental leaders in Canada.
