About this opportunity
Beginning in the fall of 2021, the Tracey J. Hubley Scholarship will be granted to a student entering their third or fourth year of study in an undergraduate program, with a strong appreciation for the power of public policy to make positive community change, who has combined their academic studies and/or varsity sports with a passion for serving their community. This scholarship is available to students in any faculty that offers undergraduate degree programs. Applicants will provide a statement demonstrating how they meet the criteria. The recipient will not be in receipt of another donor-funded award in excess of $1,000. Tracey Hubley was a proud daughter of Prince Edward Island who grew up in Montague and graduated from UPEI. She was a successful businesswoman, recognized leader, accomplished varsity curler, and passionate mentor of young female leaders. Tracey worked tirelessly in government relations and was particularly passionate about encouraging people working to make their communities better. This scholarship was established to honour Tracey Joan Hubley and celebrate her commitment to community, her magnetic presence, and her contributions to public service and community development.
