About This Opportunity
The TransAlta Grant II is available to apprentices who identify as members of underrepresented and historically marginalized, excluded and diverse communities including Black, Indigenous, or Persons of Color. The grant is specifically for students enrolled in Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) and/or Electrician apprenticeship programs at NAIT. The award is granted on the basis of demonstrated financial need and satisfactory academic achievement. Apprentices must submit an application to be considered for this award and will only be considered for intakes they attend at NAIT.
