Transfer Academic Scholarship

The Transfer Academic Scholarship is awarded to entering transfer students based on the student's overall transferable GPA as calculated by the MSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This scholarship provides $5,000 over five semesters ($1,000 per semester), totaling $2,000 per year. The award is renewable for up to 5 semesters provided the student maintains an overall college GPA of 3.0 and continuous full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours per semester at MSU. This scholarship is exclusively available to Mississippi residents and requires a minimum transferable GPA of 3.25 or higher. The Transfer Academic Scholarship may be stacked with the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship for additional financial support.
