Travel Bursaries

The Travel Bursaries at Goldsmiths, University of London provide financial support to help undergraduate students cover the cost of commuting to campus. Up to 10 awards are available annually, covering the cost of an annual travelcard for travel from home to Goldsmiths. This bursary is specifically designed for students from designated London boroughs with household incomes under £35,000 per year. The scheme aims to support local students from lower-income households by removing financial barriers to attending university. Successful applicants are selected on a competitive basis through a comprehensive review process that considers both academic record and personal circumstances. Oyster cards with the travelcard pre-loaded are distributed to recipients at the beginning of the second term of their programme.
