About This Opportunity

The Travel Grant is offered by Koda Kultur to support composers and sound artists who are members of Koda. The purpose of these grants is to help composers take part in particularly relevant professional concert events, networking, and professional exchanges. The grant covers documented travel and accommodation expenses relating to first performances, new rehearsals in Denmark or abroad, performances at festivals or major concert events, active participation in composers' workshops, study trips, retreats and residencies, and travels associated with retreats awarded at San Cataldo, Klitgaarden and similar venues. Applicants who choose climate-friendly travel options such as train instead of plane, or who need assistance due to disability or family obligations, can apply for extra support. The grant covers the applicant's own travel expenses only and provides support for accommodation costs up to DKK 1000 per night. All journeys should be undertaken using the cheapest mode of public transport where possible.
