About This Opportunity
The UFAW Travel, Training and Other Events Grant supports non-research events related to animal welfare. This includes attending or organizing educational or scientific meetings, lectures, courses, or training visits, as well as other small events that support UFAW's objectives. UFAW is concerned with the welfare of farm, companion, laboratory, captive wild animals, and free-living wild animals whose welfare is compromised by humans. The grant is open worldwide to all individuals and organizations. Animal welfare must be the main focus of the event; applications focused on conservation or improvement of livestock yield are not supported. Applications are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis, but must be submitted at least two months before the event start date.
