About this opportunity
The Trevor Hepburn Scholarship I honors the legacy of Trevor Hepburn Edwards (1944-1994), a Canadian Architect who believed fervently in the importance of lifelong learning. This scholarship is designed to encourage mature, working adults to return to full-time education at the post-secondary level in diploma or degree programs that may lead to successful careers. The scholarship is available to second, third, or fourth year students at NAIT enrolled in full-time diploma, degree, or applied degree programs. Recipients are selected based on a minimum GPA of 2.0 and a one-page essay that summarizes work history and articulates ambition and passion to pursue higher education to achieve career goals. Preference is given to students returning to school after having been in the workforce for five or more years, embodying Trevor's belief in second chances and lifelong learning.
