About this opportunity
The Trevor Hepburn Scholarship II honors Trevor Hepburn Edwards (1944-1994), a Canadian Architect who believed fervently in lifelong learning and intended to create scholarships that encourage mature, working adults to return to full-time education at the post-secondary level. This scholarship is available to any first year student at NAIT in a full-time diploma, degree, or applied degree program. It will be awarded on the basis of a minimum GPA of 2.0 and a one-page essay submission. The essay should provide a brief summary of the applicant's work history to date, and clearly articulate the applicant's ambition and passion to pursue a higher education to achieve career goals and successes in life. Preference will be given to a student who is returning to school after having been in the workforce for five or more years. This scholarship is intended to fulfill Trevor's stipulations by finding and rewarding students who demonstrate the characteristics that Trevor wished to encourage.
