Trewen Wind Fund

The Trewen Wind Fund welcomes applications to support community projects in the Trewen area near Launceston. The grants support a range of projects across the parish that focus on enhancing well-being and fostering community connections and experiences. The fund supports community and social welfare initiatives, including projects overcoming issues of isolation such as transport costs for groups to access services, sports clubs, and community and outside spaces to enhance the enjoyment of the environment for the community. All funded projects must be completed within one year of receiving the grant and must operate within the designated area of Trewen. The Trewen Wind Fund is one of a number of renewable energy funds set up for the benefit of the local community, committed to enabling the social change required to create a low carbon future for the UK.
