About this opportunity
Trinity-Cambridge Research Studentships (TCRS) is a Programme to promote research by creating PhD Studentships. It is jointly funded by Trinity College and the University of Cambridge. The scheme will enable Departments and Faculties to make offers of funding to the most talented applicants for doctoral research in all disciplines. The programme is College neutral and applicants do not need to apply to or be a member of Trinity College. Applicants will be nominated for a TCRS studentship by their relevant Department or Faculty and do not need to apply separately for this studentship or provide additional information. The award provides comprehensive funding including fees for both home and international students, maintenance stipend, student visa costs, student immigration health surcharge, and a research allowance in line with Research Council allowances within the School/Faculty/Department to which students are admitted. Awards are made on the basis of academic merit and students are expected to complete annual academic progress reports and acknowledge TCRS support in all research outputs.
