TRiO Scholarship

The TRiO Student Support Services program at Eastern Illinois University offers scholarships to active TRiO program participants to assist with tuition or housing costs for the Fall and/or Spring semesters. This scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate financial need and maintain good academic standing. Recipients must be current active participants in the TRiO/Student Support Services program with an EIU cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above and have an unmet financial need as determined through FAFSA. The scholarship award amount varies based on individual circumstances and available funding. Applicants must complete a short essay describing their background, career goals, and financial need, and provide two references including their EIU TRiO advisor and a professor or other professional contact.
