Tronosjet Manufacturing and ACADA Award

The Tronosjet Manufacturing and ACADA Award is granted to an undergraduate student in their third or fourth year of study in any faculty who intends to pursue a career in the aerospace, defence, security industry and/or advanced manufacturing. Preference will be given to a student who was not in post-secondary school for at least five years before they entered UPEI. Should there be two equally qualifying candidates, the student in the greatest financial need will be selected. This award was established in January 2022 by Tronosjet Manufacturing in partnership with the Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association (ACADA), a collaborative SME-focused organization representing the interests of the aerospace, defence, and security industries in Atlantic Canada. ACADA is comprised of approximately 170+ industry members and organizations across Atlantic Canada and works collaboratively with industry members, provincial and federal government agencies, and other key stakeholders to facilitate strategic industry development on behalf of the region while promoting the Atlantic Canada brand locally, nationally, and internationally.
