About This Opportunity
The Trudy Sorensen Scholarship in Biomedical Engineering is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the fourth year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering who has completed at least one technical elective in Biomedical Engineering. Selection is based on academic standing. If no suitable undergraduate student can be found, students entering a graduate program in the Department of Biomedical Engineering may be considered. This endowed scholarship was established by James (Jim) and Marlene Sorensen to support exceptional students in the field of biomedical engineering at the University of Alberta.
