TT-kort (tilrettelagt transport)

TT-kort is a transportation subsidy card for individuals with permanent disabilities who are unable to use public transportation. The program provides financial support for taxi travel for leisure purposes in Norway. Administered by Akershus fylkeskommune, the card is preloaded with funds twice yearly (January and July) to cover taxi fares. The basic subsidy amount is 3,700 NOK for the first half of 2026, with additional state funding of 26,300 NOK available for qualified users with special needs (blind, severely visually impaired, or wheelchair users). The card is valid for 2-4 years and requires both a doctor's certificate and a personal application. Applicants must have a permanent or long-term disability (lasting more than two years), be registered residents of Akershus county, and be unable to use public transportation due to their functional impairment.
