About this opportunity
The Turner Dairy Student Scholarship Fund was created at The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County to provide scholarships for graduating seniors of Penn Hills High School. Two scholarships will be awarded annually – one to a student planning to attend a 2- or 4-year college or university and one to a student planning to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school. The scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated service to others outside of the work environment in their community, church, school or through a charity/nonprofit organization. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Recipients may pursue their degree full-time or part-time. Each scholarship provides an average award of $2,500 as a single-year award to support students' educational pursuits beyond high school.
