UB Alumni Singapore Community Leadership Award

The UB Alumni Singapore Community Leadership Award was established in 2019 by the UB Alumni Singapore Chapter to recognize and support students from Singapore pursuing degrees at the University at Buffalo. This award specifically targets students who demonstrate strong leadership abilities, commitment to volunteerism, and academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The scholarship provides $500 to help offset educational costs for eligible students. Preference is given to undergraduate or graduate level students who are actively engaged in UB Alumni Singapore Chapter activities, fostering a strong connection between current students and the alumni network. Shortlisted candidates will participate in an interview process with the selection committee. Applicants who have been awarded a full tuition scholarship are not eligible to apply for this award due to income tax implications.
