About this opportunity
The UC Tertiary Commencement Scholarship is awarded to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students enrolled full-time in an Undergraduate Coursework degree at the University of Canberra Bruce Campus. This scholarship supports Indigenous students commencing their tertiary education journey.
The scholarship is paid as a one-off payment at the beginning of semester 1, providing financial support to help students with the costs associated with starting their undergraduate studies. The award amount is approximately $2000 AUD for one semester.
Eligible applicants must be Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students studying an undergraduate degree. Students must be based regionally, rurally, or in the ACT, and studying full-time (or part-time with extenuating circumstances). The scholarship is available across all areas of study at the University of Canberra.
