UCC - Janssen BTDS Work Placement and Education Awards

The College of Science Engineering and Food Science at University College Cork is pleased to announce the UCC Janssen Biotherapeutics Development and Supply (BTDS) Work Placement and Education Awards for third year students studying Biochemistry or Microbiology. This award offers one student the opportunity of a paid summer placement at Janssen in Cork, while another student will receive a bursary of €3,000. The awards are offered in conjunction with Janssen (companies of Johnson and Johnson), Cork, Ireland. Janssen Sciences Ireland UC (JSI) is part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies and manufactures a range of biopharmaceutical products indicated for the treatment of conditions that include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and cancer. The site in Ringaskiddy was established in 2005 with an investment of €500 million.
