UCL India Excellence Scholarship

The UCL India Excellence Scholarship aims to enable and encourage Indian students with an outstanding academic record to pursue full-time Master's degree studies at UCL. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic achievement, with applicants shortlisted according to their GPA from their bachelor's degree and the NIRF ranking of their institution. Up to 33 scholarships are available for the 2026/27 academic year. The scholarship provides £5,000 towards tuition fees and maintenance costs. It is tenable for one year only, unless the full-time programme is 2 years in length, in which case the scholarship will be paid 50% in each year. The scholarship will first be applied to the recipient's tuition fees, with any remainder payable in three equal instalments throughout the academic year towards maintenance.
