UFS Healthcare Scholarship

The UFS Healthcare Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship offered by Federation University Australia in partnership with UFS (United Friendly Societies). UFS was established as a friendly society in Ballarat over 140 years ago and has cared for many generations of families in the western region of Victoria. As a mutual organisation owned entirely by its members, UFS is committed to empowering more people to live longer, healthier lives through its network of pharmacies, medical centres, Priority Primary Care Centres, nursing services, and day spa facilities. This scholarship is available to both international and refugee students who are either new/commencing or continuing their studies at Federation University. The scholarship supports students across multiple education levels including Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, Honours, and Postgraduate programs in both higher education and TAFE sectors. UFS is thrilled to support Federation University's international students through this initiative. The scholarship is based in Ballarat and represents UFS's ongoing commitment to supporting education and healthcare in the western region of Victoria. One scholarship is available for the 2026 academic year, with applications opening on January 5, 2026 and closing on March 1, 2026.
