Ulla Malmnäs Tjernlunds forskningsfond

Ulla Malmnäs Tjernlunds forskningsfond is a research fund specifically targeting projects within intestinal and pancreatic cancer research. The fund is primarily aimed at researchers who have not yet received grants from major funding bodies such as the Swedish Research Council, Swedish Cancer Society, VINNOVA, or equivalent organizations. The fund supports projects that can be completed within one year with a budget of approximately 500,000 SEK. Applicants must hold a medical degree, be members of the Swedish Society of Medicine (SLS) or a member organization, and have defended their doctoral thesis no more than 10 years ago (with deductions allowed for parental leave). The fund covers material costs, equipment, and personnel costs. Projects must be conducted at a university or other authority where the applicant conducts research, and overhead costs are included in the granted funds.
