UMA Scholarship

The UMA Scholarship is awarded annually to students with superior academic achievement entering the fourth year of studies in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic standing, with preference given to students expressing an interest in pursuing a consulting engineering career in Canada. The scholarship was endowed in 1980 by a gift to the University from Underwood McLellan Ltd of Calgary. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
