Umesh and Usha Gulati Scholarship

The Usha and Umesh Gulati scholarship awards graduating seniors or alumni that are planning to attend Durham Tech from select high schools in Durham, North Carolina. Recipients are selected based on financial need and an outstanding motivation for higher education success. This one-time scholarship award of $2,500 may be used towards any need listed under the school's total cost of attendance, including tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. The scholarship is specifically designed to support students from Southern High School, Northern High School, Riverside High School, Hillside High School, Jordan High School, Durham School of the Arts, and City of Medicine Academy who demonstrate financial need with household incomes at 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or below. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 and plan to attend Durham Technical Community College.
