Undergraduate Bursaries

The Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust awards bursaries of up to £3,000 a year for UK university students in financial need. These bursaries support undergraduate students who have a parent, spouse, or who themselves work in the Grocery Industry, in a Community Pharmacy as a registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, or as a Commercial Traveller. The grant can be used for any reasonable costs connected with going to university, including tuition fees, accommodation costs, living expenses, or equipment to help study. Students can apply for a bursary for each year of their degree course, and recipients are expected to continue receiving funding throughout their undergraduate degree without needing to re-apply annually, provided they continue to meet eligibility requirements and maintain satisfactory academic performance. The amount awarded depends on the student's financial need and the total amount of funding available to distribute each year.
