Undergraduate Bursary Scheme (2026/27)

The University of Bradford is committed to helping students from all backgrounds access higher education. In 2026/27 the university is offering a cash bursary to all Home students whose family incomes are under £40,000 a year. The bursary provides financial support to eligible undergraduate students studying full-time at the University of Bradford. Payment amounts increase progressively through the years of study: £500 in Year 1, £600 in Year 2, and £700 in Year 3 and subsequent years. Bursaries are paid annually in the last week of March directly into the student's bank account via the Student Loans Company. Students are automatically assessed for eligibility using information from the Student Loans Company, so no separate application is required. However, students must be financially assessed by the relevant student finance service by 31 July 2027 to receive the bursary for the 2026/27 academic year.
