About this opportunity
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Undergraduate Equity Scholarships in History supports current and commencing undergraduate students studying a major in history at the University of Sydney. This scholarship was established in 2015 to provide assistance to undergraduate students studying history, with a focus on supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds. Recipients must be from a low socio-economic background, live in a regional or rural area, or identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, evidence of hardship and/or disadvantage, a personal statement, and an interview. Recipients are expected to maintain satisfactory academic performance and may be invited to participate in ambassadorial events on behalf of the Faculty.
