About this opportunity
The Sandra and Jack Pine Honors College at Eastern Illinois University offers competitive funding to support undergraduate students in conducting research, scholarship, and creative activities. This program is designed to foster student-faculty collaboration and has a strong track record of supporting work that is subsequently presented at regional and national discipline-specific meetings or at the National Conferences on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). Students do not need to be part of the Honors College to apply. The program supports both research projects and creative activities, with students working alongside faculty mentors on independent projects. Research must be completed and a summary reflection submitted to the Honors College prior to the end of the semester following the one for which the grant was awarded. The program aims to develop students' professional skills while contributing to knowledge in their fields of study.
