Undergraduate Scholarships for Physics International Students

Scholarships of £7,000 per year of study are available to new international students joining an undergraduate degree in the Department of Physics in the 2026/27 academic year. All new undergraduate international students who meet the eligibility criteria and register on an undergraduate degree in the Department of Physics will receive the scholarship automatically. No separate scholarship application is necessary. The scholarship is awarded towards tuition fees annually for the duration of undergraduate studies, subject to academic progression. To be eligible, candidates must be new, international fee-paying students who register for either year one or year two of a full-time undergraduate degree in the Department of Physics, starting in September 2026. Students must be self-funded; those who receive full scholarships from government offices or embassies will not be eligible. The scholarship continues annually throughout the undergraduate program, provided students maintain academic progression and remain enrolled in the Department of Physics.
