About this opportunity
The Uni Toolkit Scholarship is a £1,000 cash bursary paid in the first year of study to students from the University of Greenwich's local school and college network who have engaged with their outreach programme, specifically their University Toolkit workshops, before joining the university. This scholarship is designed to support progression to higher education and recognises the benefits of engaging with preparation activities and university support teams before a course begins. Students who participate in outreach activities before joining the university and meet the full criteria are eligible for this scholarship. The award is automatically granted based on eligibility criteria, with priority given to students from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education, such as those from areas of low participation (POLAR 4 Q1) and areas of multiple deprivation (IMD Q1), both identified by postcode.
