About This Opportunity

The University of the Sunshine Coast offers equity bursaries to assist students from recognised equity groups such as people from low socio-economic circumstances, people with a disability or ongoing health issues which affect studies, Indigenous students, refugees etc. This bursary provides financial support to domestic students in undergraduate degree programs who demonstrate financial need and/or personal hardship considerations. The bursary is designed to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds continue their studies and achieve their educational goals. Payment amounts are determined based on the level of financial and/or personal hardship, with the highest level receiving $2,500 for one study period and high level receiving $1,000. Approximately 500 bursaries are available per study period, making this a significant support program for equity students at UniSC.
