About This Opportunity

The UniSC Indigenous Scholarship was established in 2011 to support new students of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent wishing to pursue postgraduate studies, an Honours undergraduate qualification or a Higher Degree by Research (HDR). The scholarship encourages progression to Honours level or Postgraduate study for Indigenous students who have completed an undergraduate qualification in any discipline. The scholarship provides significant financial support through a cash stipend plus full tuition fee waiver and Student Services and Amenities fee waiver. Applications are accepted year-round with selections taking place during the relevant study period. Recipients are selected based on financial need, demonstrated involvement within or for Indigenous communities, and evidence of Aboriginality and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
