UniSC LGBTIQA+ Bursary

The UniSC LGBTIQA+ Bursary provides financial support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and asexual (LGBTIQA+) students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the University of the Sunshine Coast. The bursary is intended to recognise the efforts of a current student who contributes to an inclusive culture and assists in promoting awareness and understanding of issues that may affect people of diverse genders and sexualities. UniSC has a commitment to diversity and inclusion and is a community which recognises and embraces diversity among staff, students and community partnerships. The University is focused on the inclusion of sexually and gender diverse identities. This bursary was first offered in Semester 2, 2023 and provides A$1,500 to support eligible students.
