About This Opportunity

The UniSC Study Support Bursary is a financial aid program for full-time undergraduate students who have completed at least one study period at UniSC. Made available through the generosity of many individuals and organizations including Mr Roy and Mrs Nola Thompson, Mr Scott Williams AM, the Heller Foundation, and UniSC staff and alumni contributions, the bursary provides fortnightly payments over one or two study periods. The primary intention of this bursary is to assist students from low socio-economic backgrounds, with a preference for students who must work to support their studies. It aims to enable recipients to commit more time to their studies and engaging in university life, with less time spent in paid employment. Students working long hours during study periods are particularly encouraged to apply. The bursary is valued at A$2,500 and is paid in fortnightly installments throughout the study period. Recipients must be full-time domestic students with a GPA of 4.0 or higher who have completed at least one study period (48 units) at UniSC. Selection is based on financial need, hours worked in paid employment or other time commitments that impact study time, and academic merit.
