Unite Foundation Scholarship Scheme

The Unite Foundation Scholarship Scheme provides comprehensive accommodation support for care leavers and students estranged from their parents who are undertaking undergraduate studies at London Metropolitan University. The scholarship offers three years of free accommodation in a Unite Students property, comprising a single, en suite room in a purpose-built, fully furnished student flat with a communal fitted kitchen. The accommodation is available for the full calendar year (365 days) for each year of study, and includes all household bills and Wi-Fi throughout. Recipients do not require a rent guarantor, deposit, or rent payments. The Unite Foundation may also offer additional opportunities through sponsors, such as work placement opportunities, mentoring, or other activities to enhance the university experience. London Met is one of only 26 universities participating in this scheme, which aims to support vulnerable students in accessing higher education by removing accommodation barriers.
