About this opportunity
Unitywater's Fiona Waterhouse Women in STEM Scholarship aims to support the advancement of education and upskilling of the workforce through providing financial support for deserving female students studying in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Receiving this scholarship may lead to employment opportunities through Unitywater's graduate program.
Fiona Waterhouse served as a Board Member for Unitywater from 2016 – 2021. Fiona was a genuine and inspirational leader, and a pioneer in the emerging field of industrial bioproducts in Australia. This scholarship aims to recognise Fiona's legacy through supporting the education and development of outstanding female students studying in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The Scholarship will be awarded to a female student enrolled in an eligible program who has an interest in the water industry and is paid over two years in instalments of $3,000 per Study Period after Census Date. Eligible programs include Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Environmental Science, Bachelor of Environmental Management, Bachelor of Computer Science, and Bachelor of Information Communication Technology.
