Universities of Wisconsin Emergency Grant

The Universities of Wisconsin Emergency Grant is available to currently enrolled, degree-seeking, undergraduate UWM students who have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and are eligible for a Federal Pell Grant. Students must have experienced an unexpected financial crisis that would make completing the current term difficult. Students who apply but are not enrolled in courses for the current term will be considered ineligible. This emergency grant provides financial assistance to help students overcome unexpected financial obstacles that threaten their ability to complete the current academic term. The grant is designed specifically for Pell-eligible students facing urgent financial needs and awards are based on documented emergency situations with a maximum of $1,000 per student.
